Restoration Contractor CRS Brings New Life to Landmark Church Roof

With its badly
deteriorating slate roof, Calvary Hill Church desperately needed the services of a skilled
restoration contractor. The pastor and board members had decided to replace the
historic roofing with a standing-seam metal roof and even brought architectural
drawings showing that new roof to their first meeting with us.
But as an experienced restoration contractor, we believed a new product would suit this historic roofing project better. We suggested using Vail—a 26-gauge steel metal shingle—which looks more like the church’s old slate roof but has the low-maintenance and sustainability of metal. It also comes in a variety of colors. The church representatives loved the look and benefits of Vail, and the pastor quickly agreed to replace the roof with the material we recommended. The result was a new roof that delivered in both looks and performance.
